On February 8th, the grand opening of Arte Vilnius creative space took place. Guests were welcomed with a creative atmosphere, a buffet, and the opportunity for networking.
The founders of Arte Vilnius expressed their gratitude in their speech and shared the concept and mission of Arte Vilnius.
Premiere of "The Circle":
The opening of Arte Vilnius featured the premiere of the short documentary film "The Circle," in which Herman IX rethinks the traditional approach to tattooing, creating it using augmented reality technologies.
The Sketchar team, along with artist, researcher, and tattooist Herman IX, continues to explore immersive technologies as a tool to expand creative possibilities.
What makes this research film special?
"The Circle" is a unique study of the tattooing process using a virtual sketch on the body, visible to the artist through mixed reality glasses.
It's also significant that Andrey Drobitko, the founder of Arte Vilnius, is the founder of Sketchar – an innovative app for learning to draw using AR. It was this app that inspired Herman Devyashin to explore the world of tattooing and augmented reality.
