On March 15th and 16th, the exhibition of Marta Zhuravskaya and her illustrations for the book about The Little Pirate and The Great Treasure took place. The author of the book, well-known Lithuanian writer Marius Marčėnkevičius, also attended the opening and, together with Marta, introduced children and adults to the unusual universe he created.
The world of adults, in most cases, is quite understandable. The inner world of children is boundless.
The author of the book, Marijus Marcinkevičiaus, managed to step beyond the imagination of most adults and create his unique universe akin to the boundless imagination of a child, expressing this universe in a book about a little pirate.
Marta Zuravskaja's illustrations, to an incredible extent, complemented and developed this universe, providing an opportunity to look at the real world through the prism of the amazing Professor Mind's Tuber.
Each illustration by Marta is so detailed that one can spend hours exploring this imaginary world. The meticulous work in mixed technique is captivating, as well as the search for hidden meanings and puzzles.
We invite you to this unbelievably deep universe of the little pirate and Professor Mind's Tuber.
